Lovers of Lace and Ren Faires,
Hail and Well Met!

[my pic]Hi, there! I am Lara the Lacemaker. I'm an avid Rennie based in Central Coast California and licensed member of the International Wenches Guild, Local 69.
I enjoy sewing and have written and illustrated some how-to's to help you make your own Ren Garb
I have a deep and abiding interest in all needle and fiber arts, particularly Bobbin Lace and Blackwork. I participate in the Central Coast Renaissance Festival (SLO faire) by demonstrating the ancient art of bobbin lace. (The background image on this page is lace I've made.)
