These
are my latest endeavor. They are almost identical to my liner
lock folders but they are actually bolster release autos. By
rotating the left hand side bolster, the blade is released.
They
are available in plain 1095 steel blades and Damascus blades.
Bolster will match the blade and the back bar is 1095 on all models.
Here
is a short video clip of the action: GA Video

1095 and
Carbon Fiber
|
The blade, back spacer, and bolsters are C1095 high
carbon steel. The titanium liners have been anodized a bronzy color.
She
is razor sharp and fast. The blade is released by rotating the bolster.
The scales are my hand made carbon fiber. The weave pattern is much
more subtle than what is commercially available, but still has that
nice carbon fiber look.
