Zenith Model 7-J-259
This is a 1938 7 tube console, featuring the "robot" dial, has 3 bands and operates from a 6 volt battery or 110 volts AC. This chassis should be the radio for the Waltons, I doubt they had electricity in that part of the Blue Ridge in the late thirties.
