Boat As Received

When I received this boat, it was missing the seats and the floor was rotted. I also suspected that the transom was rotted, which I later would confirm to be true. Early on the decision was made to replace just about all of the wood. (I left the glassed in backing behind the dash, because it was still in good shape. It did have a fairly fresh coat of paint though. The color is definitely not original, but I think the red looks nice on it. It came with a 1992 Force 40hp outboard, which I initially had intended on using. I later obtained a Merc 1000, which I feel is a better choice to power this boat.

Right away I fell in love with the lines.
