New transom and floor complete

The next step was to glass in the new transom and the remainder of the floor.  The transom was constructed by sandwiching 2 layers of ½” exterior ply, which mirrored the original boat’s transom thickness.  The floor received 2 layers of mat in the end, and the transom received one layer of mat, and a layer of roving at the joint with the floor.

Front of floor, showing elevated forward platform.

I elected not to encapsulate the forward platform, due to the fact that the original was not rotted.  The platform did get a good coat of resin, though.
