The Montgomery County Tennessee Court House

The Court House as it looked at the turn of the century is shown above. On January 22, 1999, it was badly damaged by a severe tornado and is pending repairs. The community is now on its way back, and the rebuilding effort is well underway. The insurance settlement has been reached dedicated to the restoration of the Historic Montgomery County Court House. The demolition in preparation for that restoration is complete. The completion date for the Historic Court House restoration is estimated for August 2002.
