Martha Ann MUSTER was born probably Oldham Co., KY abt 1830. She married #1 James Monroe HANCOCK and is listed with him & children on the Fed. Censuses of 1860 & 1870 with her husband in McLean County. James died Nov 28, 1870 in McLean Co & buried in the Hancock Family Graveyard (1 mile West of Guffie). Martha married #2 Thomas BELL in McLean Co. Dec. 8, 1874. In 1880 Martha is in Ohio Co., KY, but she is head of household with her step-daughter, daughter, son-in-law & grandaughter. When did Thomas & Martha Muster Hancock Bell die? Where are they buried?

I am looking for information about the family of Jacob GARST that married Mary Magdalene SHAVER . They had a daughter named Elizabeth GARST that married David James FLEMING of Muhlenberg county. This GARST family lived in McLean county during the 1850s.

Looking for info on "Francis (Fannie) CASTLEN . died in Mclean county approx. 1861. Also info on her spouse Lee Castlen, he left Mclean county in 1862 approx. came to Davies Co. He lived around Long Fall Creek in Mclean Co. I would like to know where Fannie is buried. Thanks for assistance.

According to the 1860 mortality census, Mary ("Polly") DAVIDSON died in McLean County late in 1859. Is her will refered to, or abstracted, in any printed records of the county? Thanks.

Researching the ALVEY-HIGDON lines in Daviess & Grayson Counties amongst others. Specifically looking for a J. Valentine Alvey who married a Mrs Elizabeth LIVERS (maiden name HEAD ) about 1870. Had son Mathais Allie, then Elizabeth died and Valentine married Henrietta TOWERY. Nothing known of whereabouts. May have died in the McLean Co area and thought to be buried in St Benedict's Catholic Cemetery in McLean Co. Any info would be helpful. Have much to share on these lines

Looking for info on Enos WEST ancestors and decendents from Muhlenberg Co, KY. Enos b: 1808, m: 7/16/1837 to Elizabeth Ellis in Muhlenberg Co. Some of there children were James I., America E., Waitman Enos, and Eliza J. Some census info show them in McLean Co, KY also. I would appreciate any help!

Searching for any information on the family of Christopher C. THOMPSON , who appears in the 1870 McLean County census with wife Sarah E. and sons Henry R. and James W. CHRISTOPHER was born in Logan County in 1843. Sarah was born ? in KY in 1849. Henry was born in McLean County in 1865, and James was born in McLean County in 1867. Christopher remarried in Logan County in 1862; obviously Sarah died by then. What was Sarah's maiden name, and when did she and Christopher marry? Any help much appreciated. Thanks!
