HICKS posted by Alan S. Ecton on Saturday, June 28, 1997

I was born at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington on July 6, 1953 to William W. ECTON of Lexington and Romelle HICKS of McLean County KY. I now live in Houston TX. Other than my father, I know of no other living Ectons (to whom I am related) in Kentucky. There is a village in Northampton, England named Ecton, but between that and my father, I have a complete blank. I don't get much help from Web searches I have done so far. If anybody can shed some light on my family name, I would sincerely appreciate it.
