d Green River Race
The 1997 Green River Narrows Race was another big success! We had to postpone from the original date of November 22 due to a 200% release, but Sunday the 23rd had sixty degree temps, blue skies, and 100% of one unit running. Twenty-one racers went for it this year, and a good time was had by all!

The race course runs from the pool above Frankenstein to the pool below Rapid Transit, a run of half a mile or so, with about eight class V rapids. Below are the results. My apologies to folks whose names are spelled wrong, or whose last names weren't given to the timers.
