In doing a bit of research recently, I came across the fact that there were a number of titles that were missed by the compiler of Lincoln Lore's "Cumulative Bibliography" for the year 1989. Lincoln Lore chose to discontinue their "Cumulative Bibliography" when the monthly publication of the periodical ceased in 1990. Up to that point in time, Lincoln Lore had recorded twenty-two Lincoln titles published in 1989, and two in 1990.
With a bit of checking, it became apparent that the twenty-two items listed for 1989 did not include many Lincoln titles that appeared that year. In order to assemble as complete an unbroken bibliography as possible, I have assembled a listing of the additional titles that could have conceivably appeared in Lincoln Lore had they continued to publish their "Cumulative Bibliography."
In the list found below, you will note that I have, for purposes of clarity, listed the bibliographic number, author, and title of the twenty-two titles recorded by Lincoln Lore. I then list the additional titles uncovered in my research. This bibliography is not as complete as those I have assembled for the period of 1990-1998. In order to maintain a sense of continuity, I maintained Lincoln Lore's definition of Lincolniana for the 1989 bibliography.
The titles that appeared in Lincoln Lore are:
1989-1 Current, Richard N.
Lincoln, The Constitution, and Presidential Leadership
