Mr. Lincoln's Virtual Library is a preview of a project of the Library of Congress, featuring narrative and documents from the Library's Manuscript Division and Rare Book and Special Collections Division. Now online are sections on the Emancipation Proclamation and the Lincoln assassination. Both feature documents and graphics from The Robert Todd Lincoln Family Papers housed in the Manuscript Division and the Alfred Whital Stern Collection in the Rare Book and Special Collections Division.
The project is funded by a generous gift from Donald G. Jones, Terri L. Jones, and The Jones Family Foundation. Future plans call for additional information on the life and times of Abraham Lincoln.
