Millions Suffer from Anxiety (full story)
...these disorders affect 13.3% of the adult population each year and result in total annual costs of 46.6 billion dollars.  This percentage represents the largest percentage for any mental health problem.  The costs in human potential and in dollars are enormous.  Yet, most individuals with anxiety disorders do not get the benefit of the treatments that have been shown to be effective.

Anxiety Support Group Completes 6th Year of Operation

As of February,  2001 the Anxiety Support group that meets at the DeLano Outpatient Clinic on the campus of the Borgess Medical Center has completed six years of operation.

...the young Harvard-educated teacher proudly declared and laughed at the dinner party I recently attended.  She was referring to students with mental disorders she might pass in the hall.  "What makes you think that you can really 'spot crazy anywhere', and what is your definition and concept of 'crazy'?" I had wanted to ask.
