Mid-Michigan Model Show 2006
| The Mid-Michigan Modelers Club holds an annual show and contest every spring. I had always wondered how the models I had recently made (1990s) stacked up against other model makers. Only one way to find out... enter the contest. The Spring of 2006 I entered one of my models, an Israeli Merkava MBT. When the judging was done, it had won the gold medal. This is not just first place, a gold medal is won by the quality of the model. There were about 17 models in the category (Armored Fighting Vehicles) and two of them won a gold medal. Below are pictures of my model in the show. |
