Construction management traditionally has focused on completing a project by coordinating the interaction between labor and materials. However the coordination of labor to assemble material (project management) is a distinctly different discipline from the acquisition of materials (supply-chain management).

Fastnet RC has its roots in industrial supply-chain management. The Fastnet RC division of Netlink Global Supply Solutions, grew out of a major commitment to managing complex integrated supply chains, where the integration of work teams and materials was critical to both productivity and the velocity of money. Managing over a billion dollars in spend, Netlink Global Supply Solutions had major leverage in the supplier market place and had developed systems and processes that took traditionally slow, relatively uncoordinated supply chains into a high service, high delivery reliability model.

Netlink Global Supply Solutions entered the construction market in 2007, taking on a major residential development in Mexico, and delivering all new systems and processes resulting in over a 25% reduction in materials costs, staged on-site delivery of materials, and just-in-time logistics system. In 2008 we entered full force into the residential, retail, restaurant and hospitality construction markets with the addition of one of the leading construction managers in the industry and his team.

We provide best-in-class processes that in turn deliver significant cost savings on all material and services for each project. Our team members become integrated into all aspects of your operations working to ensure your design criteria, schedule and project budget are met.

Fastnet RC has worked extensively with its clients to find, develop and qualify new “Green” products and processes to the solution. Products that are not only earth friendly, but at the same time offer substantial cost reduction opportunities. For one of our major supply chain clients we developed an entirely new program that led to an entirely new approach to green facilities management, while saving over 35% in costs. This program culminated in the facility becoming the largest building under roof in the US becoming LEED certified.
