In 1995 the LYFA Board of Directors decided to honor individuals that had been dedicated and committed to the league. The 100 Yard Award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon any individual by the LYFA. The Recipient of this award must have served in the LYFA for a minimum of ten seasons, and must have been a valuable asset to the league.
Terry Dailey a native of Morristown is a proud father of five. Born to the late Terry Dailey, and Deloris Ewing Dailey of Morristown. Terry is a 1983 graduate of Morristown West and attended Walters State Community College. Terry has a passion for dogs. For a hobby he raises Pit Bull Dogs. He started his football career with this league as a member of the Raiders football team in 1975-76. He played for the Lincoln-Heights Middle School Patriots in 1977-78, and the Morristown West High Trojans in 79, 80 and 81. In 1989 when the Training League, which is now the Pee Wee Division was established, Terry was an assistant coach with the Falcons. In 1990 his rein as Head Coach of the Falcons begin, and he has held that position to this day. In 1989 Terry led his undefeated Falcons to a HCRFA Grasshopper Division League Championship. The Falcons under his tutelage have been League Champs from 1988-2000. The have also amassed the hardware and the titles of nine Super Bowl Championships. A crowning moment in the life and career of Terry and the Falcons was the 1995 6-0 defeat of the Jefferson City Bulldogs which had 55 consecutive wins and were nationally recognized. Coach Dailey and the Falcons are the class and the pinnacle of the Pee Wee Division. When you speak of the Pee Wee Division the word Falcons always come to mind. For your dedication, commitment, and countless hours of service to the youth of the Lakeway are for the past 13 seasons, the entire community would like to say "Thanks" for going the distance
