Critters

Many critters have been made over the years by the Macatawa Bait Company and a few are shown here. Patterns and styles change each year as well as sizes. These lures have either glass or bead eyes and most have handmade parts of brass and copper. E-mail for more info on availability.

Beetle
The Beetle is made in a variety of colors and patterns. It has metal legs and tie and sports bead eyes.

Large and Small Beetles
Beetles are made in standard bass size and also in a larger musky size. Both are shown here in a variety of paint patterns.

Grasshoppers
Grasshoppers are made in three sizes with wooden bodies ranging from 2" to 5". They are shown here in two color patterns and all three sizes.

Mayfly
The Mayfly is made of wood and has handmade wings of cloth with copper parts and a single hook.

Casting Frogs
Frogs are made in three sizes with wooden bodies ranging from 1.5" to 4". Each frog has glass eyes with painted leather legs.

Jointed Frog
This frog has glass eyes and leather legs. It is shown in a green crackleback paint pattern.
