Here are photos taken of my 811H after I got it back from repair for the second time. I was amazed of what I found:

Before the repair there was only one resistor coil and two caps on left and right side of the parasitic PC board. Now it has doubled.

The photo below shows two new resistors soldered on three lug connector.  The same is true at the rear of the amp. The small 1/8" diode (Mike at Ameritron said it was a diode & was removed because blew) was connected to area of the two rear resistors and  & connected to a one lug at  ground. And no.....I haven't a clue.

Upon real close inspection, here is the labeling of the resistors if it is helpful to someone.

Right front resistor: 51 ohm 5% RCD135P.  Left side: C52P  51 ohm 5%  RC0135

Right rear resistor: 51 ohm  5% C422. Left side 51 ohm  5%  RCD135P

Under each pair, fore and aft, are a longer  loose wires running under the "shelf" and a shorter wire running  under the "shelf" to a component (as it was tight).

Please note that the new two page "Tuning Sheet" I received which was not in the manual I got is can be found on the Yahoo Ameritron Amp Reflector as it is easier to read than if on my web site. But I wonder if this was included in manuals of other newer owners? Let me know either way please via my e-mail link below...I don't care how many responses I get because this is of great interest to me.

Tibor, IK2SAI, sent me this e-mail via the Ameritron Reflector.

"Hi Frank.
I own a brand new AL811H built in January 2008.The two pages uploaded on the files section of the group are now standard and included (flyers) in the manual.
Even your PCB upon tubes is exactly the same of mine (standard). I can tell you that my 811H after few days of very light operations (just some tune to find "presetting") has had one tube giving up. Really don't know what has happened. "
