Simple & easy home brew 6M halo and stacked halos for less then $20 made from NAPA brake line

I have a TS-2000 ( a LONG way from the TS-940 I owned from 1986 up until the TS2K), an MFJ 989C Tuner, an Ameritron AL-811H amplifier, a homebrew P4 computer with three disk drives (SCSI) with a wireless mouse and keyboard, a new 19" flat panel wide screen, a Heathkit U-matic keyer which I built in 1987  (using one as seen by the amp).

I also have a working Heathkit HW-101, matching watt meter, microphone and HD-1410 keyers I built years ago as well and  just use it for rag chews. The shack gets plenty warm but on a cold New England winter, it keeps the shack comfortable....can probably heat the rest of the house  (:      I also want to thank Mike,W5RKL, for giving a thorough and detailed description of the circuitry and help on a few issues to get my HW-101 up and running at peak performance!

I also have my DXCC CW with 125 countries and satellite DXCC (AO-13) that earned in the mid '90s but I'm starting out all over again after a ten year absence from ham radio due to tuition for kids and working extra hours for my police department. I finally retired November 1st, 2004 after 34 years of service to the department. Since then I have confirmed 192 countries and have DXCC for 40M and 20M CW and closing in on 80M with this shack setup through casual contacts, DX cluster spotting, and various contests.

I hope to work you some day as ham radio has made our world so much smaller these days!
