Person 3 (El Meteorólogo)

You are the person talking to the masses! You need to be clear and memorize your lines. You are the one with the props and the disguise!

Your job is to greet the audiences, tell them your name, the TV channel you are broadcasting from, the date, the season, and 2 phrases about the weather, temperature, etc. for the 5 cities in the map (Person #1 will write these for you) and give a weather forecast for 5 days from the capital of the country your group chosen. Do not forget to add an advice about "something to do in their free time" according to your weather report (Will you tell the audience: "Es un buen tiempo para nadar", when it is 3 below cero? I don't think so!)

Ejemplo: ¡Buenas Noches! Desde Malambo, Guinea Ecuatorial les habla Lluvia Fuerte, la locutora del clima. Hoy es viernes, 13 de febrero del dos mil ________ y estamos en pleno verano. Como podrán ver el tiempo esta muy nublado y hay tormentas aisladas y dispersas, el calor sigue como siempre. La temperatura máxima es de 34C y la mínima es 24C.  Para los que solo entiendes F serán: 92F y 75F. Es un buen día para quedarse en casa con el aire acondicionado, beber jugo o agua, leer el periódico o escribir tarjetas postales para los amigos. Se ve que el tiempo será el mismo para toda la semana. Relájese y pásela bien.

You will also create a forecast of 5 days for the city you are broadcasting. (If you do not get it, check one of the "real" weather reports on TV or one of the "Pronóstico" links) For this you will need a poster board or a big piece of paper from "El armario de papeles" next to Señora's classroom. (You know, the one with the paper guillotine. ¡No pongas los dedos!) Use the vocabulary in chapter 5, and check the URLs sources.
