Introduction

You and 3 other persons are the meteorological team for a TV news program tracking the weather of 5 cities in a particular Spanish speaking country during a specific season. Your job is to  create the weather report/forecast for these cities, in Spanish. You must illustrate the weather, temperature, days of the week, season, and use the weather expression learned in meteorology school in a map. Present a "Weather Dictionary" and a study report about "Temperatures, What, Who and How" to sell during the forecast.

You will be making a poster  map showing the place of the 5 cities and use the correct weather symbols to describe your forecast. You will make a bar graph of the temperatures in ºC and ºF in the five cities, using Microsoft Excel. You will give information about what a tourist can do in these cities, use the adverbs from "Primer Paso" Chapter 5.
You will  give information about these °F/°C  and other temperature readings, who discover them, how are different, etc. You will incorporate in your book two Spanish and two English weather sayings/dichos. You will provide pictures to accompany your book. This part will be done in English. You will have 2-3 phrases to sell the "Temperature Book", this part will be done in Spanish. It can be shown as a PowerPoint Presentation.
You will use during the forecast: greetings, name of the meteorologist, the TV channel and the city, the date, the day of the weeks, the season, and 2 phrases about weather, temperature, etc. for these 5 cities. You will create a forecast for 5 days. (For example: On Mondays the temperature will be ..., is a great day for.... Listen to a forecast on TV for more help.)
You will create a weather dictionary in Spanish and English using at least 12 weather terms and clip art or real photos to accompany the description. You will  have 2-3 phrases to sell the "Dictionary". It can be shown as a PowerPoint Presentation.

Remember, you will be "the" TV meteorological team and the forecast will be videotape. Costumes/disguise, props, are a must. What else can you use to show weather? How about snow, rain? Use your imagination!
