Rated: Very Easy
From Main St, turn onto Lake St. Park at either the
Patriots Park parking lot or the Coventry Community Center parking
lot. Both entrances are on your right, right after the cemetery with
the large Nathan Hale Monument.
Walk down the paved path, pass the playground, pavilion, band shell,
to the rest rooms. The paved path ends. Walk 12 paces. On your left is
an entrance to a wooded path. Follow the path to the top. At the top
of the point, on the cement slab, this is a beautiful place to watch
the sink into the lake. (You may see the paper evidence of the fire
works that are launched from this spot around July 4th at the annual
Coventry Fest). Take a reading of 90* and take 9 paces in that
direction. You will see a path to your left. Take it. Walk through the
Mt Laurel. On your left is a big tree with two small trees growing
very close to it. Behind it is the treasure.
Please rehide well. The
other box hidden in this area was destroyed by vandals.
