Melted

Chaplin, CT
Rated Very Easy
Planted by Irish Tinker & Ladybug 98

Ladybug 98 (age 4 1/2) came up with the idea for this box, described to IrishTinker what she wanted the stamp to look like and chose the final resting place. Please let her know what you thought. She based it on a song she learned in Pre-K.

I'm a little snowman short, & fat
Here are my buttons, here is my hat
When the sun comes out I can not play
I just slowly melt away!

From the intersection of Rte 6 & Rte198 heading EAST, take the next left onto Cross Rd.

Drive about 10 yards & park on the right hand side of road.

There will be a yellow gate on the left hand side of road (this is the old rte 6)

Count 17 standing guard rails on the right of trail.

At 17 you will see a large dead stump just off the trail.

Stand at stump and take a reading of 350*

Walk 6 paces to a tree laying under Mt Laurel. Here is the treasure.
