This is my first homepage upgrade in almost 3+ years. A great deal has changed.

Joshua has become fully wheelchair dependent. We moved into a wheelchair friendly home and remodeled it further to accommodate Joshua further with ramps, and an accessible bathroom.

The latest addition to our lives came in March 2005. (not a baby) Hampton a 2 year old Golden Retriever was provided by Canine Assistance through a Tee Up for Kids fundraiser. Hampton has been in training for 18 months. We have been in training since our trip to Georgia back in March. Hampton picks things up for Joshua and delivers them to his lap, tray, or his hand. He also accompanies Joshua everywhere he goes even doctors visits. He even accompanied Joshua right up to the point where he went in for surgery and was waiting for him when he got out. (Joshua had cataract surgery on his left eye in July and has good vision in both eyes for the first time in years)

Joshua is 18 years old and hopes to graduate High School this spring. After that (well we are thinking about it) What ever he does Hampton will be right there at his side.
