Parenting Classes
Did you know that a crying baby is the number one factor in not only child abuse, but post-partum depression? How much grief could you avoid if you could greatly reduce the amount of time your baby cries?
Fortunately, your baby comes with an instruction manual! The most critical time in your child's development is in the first three years. How often your child is ill, how strongly he or she forms emotional attachments and how secure your child feels all contribute to the person your baby will grow into. By understanding the importance of this early development, you can help your child reach their full potential.

A.L.A.C.E. classes are usually offered as an 8-week course that includes Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting information. Because I've been so happy with HypnoBirthing(R) classes for birthing, I haven't been holding the A.L.A.C.E birthing classes, but I will be happy to hold the full series of Pregnancy/Birthing/Parenting classes for interested parties.
Monitrice/Labor Assistant Services
I do labor assisting on a very selective basis when my schedule permits. Email for more information.
Life Coaching for Fearless Birthing(TM)
I will work in person and remotely to assist parents in implementing the concepts for Better Birth found in Mother's Intention: How Belief Shapes Birth.
Empathy Belly(R) Presentations
Originally, the Empathy Belly(R) was an investment for the fathers in my classes. Now, I visit area highschools to demonstrate just what it really feels like to be nine months pregnant.
Birth Art
While I do explore many mediums in the creation of birth art, belly casting is the only one I do for hire. The bulleted link will take you to the site of the woman who originated this now popular artform. It is not my site. I am including it because it is with her that it all began, and because mothers can order their own belly masking kits from her.(And I admire her work!)
Birth Related Hypnotherapy
I specialize in the many pregnancy/birth/postpartum related applications of hypnotherapy. Hypnosis can be used to reduce or eliminate pregnancy nausea, back pain, high blood pressure, or to finally get rid of that nasty smoking habit for the sake of your baby. It can also be used in cases of malpresentation, threatened prematurity or postmaturity. I also do fear release and birth regression. (Some hypnotherapy requires physician consult.) There are studies as to the efficacy of all of these pregnancy concerns, which can be emailed to anyone interested by contacting me at the bullet link for this service.
These are my favorites that I consider must have selections. It may be difficult to find these books in some bookstores or libraries. Cascade HeathCare Products, Inc. has an extensive Birth and Life Book Store catalog that lists all of these and more.
