Welcome to
Marilyn Ann (Todd) McCoskey's
Genealogy Homepage.
I was born in Inglewood, California and
attended Inglewood High School (Class of 1954). Graduated from El Camino
College (AA), Pepperdine University (BSA) and California State University,
Dominguez Hills (MSA).
I retired from TRW in Redondo Beach, California in November 1992 after 30
years and am currently living a retirees life in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
I have a continuing interest in genealogy. We have been working on a family
history book of the Todd family which has now expanded
into the other family lines. On my paternal side, the family names being
researched include Todd,
Briggs, Hogue and
Meacham. On my maternal side, the family names
being researched include Kempton and
Morrison (Morisseau in
Quebec), and Bonneau.
Our Todd lineage starts with Alexander
Todd who came from Ireland in 1820 to Philadelphia
and on to Peoria County, Illinois in 1840 and we are currently researching
that era. Have not been able to verify his existence in Philadelphia in 1826
when he purportedly married Ann Manes (daughter
of Robert Manes and Mary
Campbell) on June 19, 1828. Have been unable to
connect any siblings to Alexander Todd nor his
parents. Am working on documenting Alexander Todd's
offspring and their families. Alexander and Ann had 11 children, 4 born in
Philadelphia, Pa. and the other 7 being born in Peoria County, Ill. These
children are: Margaret Todd, b. Feb. 13, 1831 who
married Riley Scott on July 29, 1847; Alexander
Todd, b. Aug. 17, 1833, who married Maida
West on Sept. 25, 1856; Elizabeth Ann

Morrison/Morisseau (my
