A native of Wisconsin, I live near Madison with my husband and our daughter, and fantasize about living on a tropical island. I'm a classically-trained trombonist with a degree in music performance and occasionally dust off my trombone to play for fun, but my real passion is writing. My literary love is romance novels because I'm a sucker for a happy ending!
The first novel in my "gods" series took second place in the RCRW Golden Rose contest, and the second book in the series placed second in the MARA Fiction from the Heartland contest. I'm a PRO member of Romance Writers of America and Wisconsin Romance Writers of America. I write for the same reasons I read: fun, passion, to entertain, and to bring a few hours of joy to a reader's life.
On my bookshelf you'll find lots of novels by the fabulous Gregg Hurwitz, the incomparable Linda Howard, Suzanne Brockmann and Susan Elizabeth Phillips, the exciting Tara Janzen, and the always entertaining Meg Cabot and Sophie Kinsella.
When not at the computer writing, I can be found spending time with my family, bicycling, hiking, rollerblading, ice skating, enjoying a movie, listening to music, or reading.
