EXPLAINING Small Production DVDs

OK here is the deal with these DVD’s

1) Commercial DVD’s are Replicated (Pressed) not burned thus they work on pretty much every DVD out there.

2) Small production run DVD’s like those I produce are NOT presed but instead burned into the dye of the DVD

So the production method is quite different  from those produced in Hollywood or huge budget production houses and

3) Thus BURNED type DVD's will NOT work on every DVD player especially a lot of the OLDER DVD players .

Newer DVD players and especially the ones that will play multiple formats (+-/ RW DVD and CD's) generally accept all types of DVD's including burned DVD’s.

GENERALLY If you have a DVD player that is under 3 years old it will PROBABLY work. Please note I didn’t say definitely

**(see below for a list of one player that I know won't play burned DVD's ... so far I do not know of others but know they are out there.

Computer DVD players generally WILL play burned type of DVD's.

4) Therefore in all honesty I can not guarantee that these DVD’s will work in your system. I have tested them with many newer players* and they work just fine ... I have also tested them on both Mac and Window systems [Using QuickTime** and Windows Media Video (WMV)** formats] and they also work just fine  … so if they don’t work in you home DVD player they should in your computer…

5) However Since I can’t add copy protection without DRAMATICALLY increasing the price I would rather offer them to you as is (UNCOPYPROTECTED)

6) I also can not offer a refund because it would be possible to order a disk copy it and then return it.   So please take this fact into consideration BEFORE you order.  ALSO Personally I hate it when you can't make a LEGITIMATE back up copy of something you paid for so ... This way I keep the cost down, you CAN make a back up. I just ask you please not to pirate copies!

7) Be Aware that if you order and the disk does not work because of a problem with the disk (not a problem with your player) I will EXCHANGE the Disk for another one of the same title. I am trying to be fair here and not leave you unsupported but I can’t leave myself open either .

8) If you find a player (or computer)  that will not play these DVD’s please send me the player and I will list it so that people will know there is a problem with that Player …thanks!
