That as of 9/1 Missouri Medicaid eliminated coverage of feeding tubes, breathing machines for people with respiratory failure, canes, crutches, walkers, cushions to prevent life-threatening bed sores and for wheelchair batteries? Read the full story here. Personally, I think disabled people and their allies should refuse to vacation in or buy products from Missouri until this decision is reversed. That's what I'll be doing starting tomorrow. Feel free to join with me and don't forget to contact Governor Matt Blunt and tell him what you're doing and why.

You can help end this injustice my asking your Congressperson to support the bipartisan "Dear Colleague" letter circulated by Congressmen Jim Langevin (D-RI) and Charlie Bass (R-NH).
