| I once new a Harlie Great Dane in real life that had both black and gray patches. His name was Cody and he was so cool. He had the sweetest personality and he was so huge! I thought he was the most beautiful dog I'd ever seen, and ever since I have loved Harlie Danes. I hexed Canvas in his honor. | Oh...My...Fucking...God! That's what I said when I first saw a Burton-esque dane. Then Kitty gave me one and I just about died. He's so damn cool! He is seriously the best hexie ever; there couldn't be anything more perfect than Doubletalk. I love everything about him, his freaky fucked up eye, his incredible swirly spots, and other random spots, his coloration is just perfect, including that pale corps blue tongue, and that tail! Fucking awesome doesn't even begin to cover it. And his name is just so fitting. Plus he looks super sexy in devil horns or a Mohawk and collar. | Rawr! I love Stain! I've wanted a black dane with dark black spots since long before they were called hula spots. The first time I saw one I went absolutely nuts. I wanted him so bad, but of course he already belonged to someone else, and I couldn't hex at the time. So, all these years later I finally decided it was time to hex my own. And after I got started I just went a little crazy and started playing with addballs. Cuz whenever you add claws and fangs to something, it increases its sexiness by ten fold! When I made him I wanted to work more with spots since I suck at them. So I made every single spot from scratch! I didn't grab a single spot from the dali or mutt. That's quite a feat for me. AND HE TROTS MOTHERFUCKER! Hell yeah! He's the best trotter ever because he's an eeeevil trotter. Yes, I get great pleasure from watching something with evil red eyes and pointy sharp claws and fangs trotting around my screen and acting all cute and silly. Stain may not be stunning by today's standard of uber complicated hexies, but he's very special to me. |

Her name comes from one of my favorite songs on the album, The Hand That Feeds. I wanted to do something relatively simple, except for the markings under her eyes (which are supposed to look like tear stains) and the stripy bits on her sides (which are supposed to look like the NIN design, like on the cover of The Downward Spiral) Those were really hard to make. I like how they turned out, even if they're not perfect. |
