Mt. Zion, Illinois, and died October 11, 1952 in Bethany, Oklahoma.. He

GERTRUDE GORRELL January 29, 1891 in Sherman,
Grayson Co., Texas, U.S.A., daughter of JAMES GORRELL and SUSAN
SUTTON. She was born July 16, 1873 in

1918, Served on the school board as an Elder drawing up legal agreement and
plans for the new school built in Kingston, Oklahoma in 1908. Picture taken November 1999 of
the home Elsie built c1898-1901. The original house, before some remodeling
had the front porch going around the sides of the house too. This house was heated
by a coal burning stove in the early 1800's. Susie's sewing room was upstairs
and a bedroom upstairs was used by their grandchildren. Pecan trees planted
along the driveway in the mid 1900's were planted by their grandson, Eugene
D. Dawson. The pecan trees are still there today.
