"Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About." REVIEW
I decided to take a different approach with this review. I have personally read the book myself but I did not read anything about it prior to this because I wanted to have an open mind about it going in. Big mistake. Before I start with my own opinions I am going to give you a couple reader reviews about this book that I found on Amazon.com:

"A
Total Scam, July 22, 2005 Don't get taken into this classic dupe. You'll be asked to spend even more money getting the answers you're looking for. My advice -- Don't bother" "Satan
is waiting for this dude, October 31, 2005 I have to say this book title certainly 'peaked' my interest. As one of the much revile 'they' who don't want 'you' to know about how we have cured cancer and other dreaded diseases, I wondered perhaps I had just missed a meeting that was required for me to begin a career in biomedical research on how to oppress the masses with disinformation. Don't get me wrong, I am all for learning about real alternative therapies. I believe herbal remedies, meditation and non-traditional means are often over looked and it may be caused by the fact there is no drug company profit for this. Having heard about this book from a number of colleagues and patients, I felt obligated to read it to make an informed judgment on suggestions for alternative therapies. This became a truly painful endeavor for me as I searched for information on how to treat diseases. Even if someone was looking to choose a therapy based on the shoddy pseudo-science in this book, I am stumped on how they would do it. Often there are no references to look up the source material, no information on dosing, complications and monitoring the use of treatments like DMSO and hydrogen peroxide. I sincerely hope that no one out there is going to try these or many of the other suggestions in this book. I grow brain cells in my research lab and can tell you that a great way to kill them is to apply either of these two agents." What
"Kevin Trudeau" Doesn't Want You to Know, October 30, 2005 I actually thought this book would include tons of great information about alternative health therapies. It does contain tons of information about how bad the FDA is and then says the FDA won't let him put the therapy information in the book -- so you have to PAY to get access to the information on his website. However, once you get to the website, there's not much there either. I guess "it's all about the money" for Mr. Trudeau -- get you paying every which way. Very disappointing. Then I did some research and found out that Kevin has been in prison (not just for making claims about Coral Calcium) but for credit card fraud, impersonating a doctor, and other charges. Although
there is some good information in the book, and it does point out that
there are many ways we can become more healthy, it's just too much about
the "big bad FDA" and too little about the alternative therapies
he claims to be writing about. |
Those are just a few of the hundreds. I should have done some research before deciding to review this book as it turned out to be a complete waste of my time, but I'm glad I caught this scam. Something else I found out was that numerous lawsuits have been filed by both consumers and government agencies, basically calling it a fraud. Here is a News Release from the New York State Consumer Protection Board:
Cancer
‘Cures’ Are Empty Promises The CPB says Trudeau is not only misrepresenting the contents of his self-published book, he is also using false endorsements to encourage consumers to buy “Natural Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About.” “This book is exploiting and misleading people who are searching for cures to serious illnesses,” said Teresa A. Santiago, Chairperson Teresa A. Santiago. “What they discover is page after page after page of pure speculation -- not the cures for cancer and other diseases that are promised.” “From cover to cover, this book is a fraud. The front cover makes false promises about ‘natural cures’ that are in the book, while the back cover includes false endorsements, including one from a doctor who died three years before the book was even written,” Chairperson Santiago said.... To be honest, there isn't much to be said except that this man and his book are a big fat fraud. The sad part is that there are legitimate "Natural Cures" books out there that are EXCACTLY what they promise and this guy is giving all of them a bad name. The best one I can personally recommend is the "Handbook of Natural Cures". This book is one of the only "real deals", I have personally read and used the cures in this book many times and I was NEVER disappointed, visit their website through the link below.
