Write the offer to purchase Before writing the offer to purchase, it is very important that you have been at least pre-qualified or better yet pre-approved by a lender. This is one of the best negotiating tools a buyer can have. It shows the seller that you are financially able to purchase the home. After you have found the right home, it is time to prepare the offer. In Wisconsin, the offer to purchase is a five page document, plus optional addendums. It covers all facets of the purchase process, such as:
Once you make the offer, I, as your Buyer's Agent will present it to the listing agent and they in turn will present it to the seller. The seller may do one of three things: accept it, counter it, or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it is a legally binding contract. If not, we may need to negotiate. As your Buyer's Agent, I can help you Negotiate with the Seller.
