This year Sue and I made the trip to Indy together. Eric and Emily were unable to attend as they were in Chicago for their daughter's graduation from grad school. Congratulations Carrie! We got some test and tune passes in on Friday night. With the NHRA being there the previous weekend, the track was in fabulous condition. I was getting closer on the clutch but still did not have it dialed in and was bogging off the starting line all three days. Thoughts were floating in my head about the old clutch but I tried to push them out because I knew that I would figure this thing out eventually. Unfortunately, Sunday found me no closer and we were eliminated in round 2. Hey, it's better than going out in round #1 and this was an improvement over the last couple AHDRA races!
