The MAVRIK Racing team is comprised of Mike Fitzgerald, the rider, Sue Fitzgerald, the Crew Chief, wife, and #1 fan, and Eric and Emily Pettit, our closest friends and staunchest supporters. We've had some help from some great folks along the way. . . I have to start by thanking my wife. Sue has given me all the support that anyone could ever ask for. Without her support, I would not be racing while ALSO being happily married. She's one of a kind and I wouldn't trade her for anything! We getting ready to celebrate our 20th anniversary August 3rd! I also owe a serious debt of gratitude to Eric Pettit. His unselfish labor lead to my first financial contribution towards this project. I hope you will join me in praying for his complete recovery from a serious motorcycle accident that keeps him from enjoying not only racing, but life in general. Thank you also goes out to TEAM VIP for having me as a member for the past two seasons. As the NHRA is still not allowing the juniors to race, Team VIP will exist this year in spirit. I will continue to run the team logo as a show of support for the Junior class. Hope they'll be back on track, soon! Then there's my friend and fellow racer, Steve Moore. Although he races a Top Fuel Harley that is WAY faster than my drag bike, he always takes the time to give me advice and support. I also have to thank a few fellow AHDRA racers who have given me great advise, parts when I needed them, and a kick in the butt when I needed that too! To Joe Perry, Maura Hall, and Allen Nusbaum, thank you for everything! Your friendships and the friendships I've made with everyone at AHDRA are priceless. Thanks also to the AHDRA staff for continuing to work towards the improvement of our sanction.
