The Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce, the Kingsport Bicycling Association and the 2005 Southern Tandem Rally committee welcome you to Kingsport, Tennessee, and the 2005 edition of the Southern Tandem Rally.
During the three days you will experience rides that are perfect for tandems with multiple length ride options available each day. The rides will follow lightly traveled country roads over rolling terrain that will give you the opportunity to apply all of your riding skills. The rides will give a chance to experience and enjoy the wonderful people of East Tennessee.
While in the Kingsport area, we hope you will take time to visit and enjoy many of the features of the area. There is excellent and challenging mountain bike riding to be found within minutes of MeadowView at Bays Mountain Park and Warriors Path State Park. Go back to the early 1800’s by visiting Exchange Place and Netherland Inn. Visit the home of the Lost State of Franklin at Rocky Mount. Ride to the top of Whitetop Mountain on one of the top rails to trails conversions in the US: the Creeper Trail in Abingdon, Virginia. There is much to do in the area. Maybe you need to come early and stay late!
