Rumpy was one of three cats that followed my mom's cat, Lena Bean, home one day. Lena Bean was not happy about it, and the three kittens ended up with us. Lady MacArthur (she has lots of stripes) disappeared a few years later, but Rumpy's other sister, Furball, is still with us. Her story and pictures are coming soon to a web server near you.
Rumpy's name is from the play Cats.
Rumpy is the friendliest cat. She will bat you as you pass by if she wants attention. She sleeps in window sills. She was the first to learn that Classy could be very friendly also, if you just don't run away from her.
