I have been an SQA Engineer for about 15 years at Tandem, Wang, Epoch (now EMC), Banyan, Cayenne (once Bachman, now
Sterling) and PictureTel, Xedia (consumed by Lucent) and now Tatara
Systems. I specialize in test automation and I've been an SQA project
lead off and on since my days at Epoch. I've tested file servers, unix
kernels, directory services, GUI editors, database schema compilers,
system management tools, multipoint conferencing servers, video phones
and IP routers. I've built tests using C, Pascal, shell scripts, QA
Partner, WinRunner, Visual Test, Visual Basic, Visual C++ and Perl, TCL
and expect.
You can reach me at Tatara at jlm@Tatarasystems.com
I'd like to think I've learned something along the way, and I've
started to write some of it down. Here's what I've got so far. Comments
are welcome.
