Missourians for Tax Justice and the Tax Justice for a Healthy Missouri campaign supported House Bill 883.
HB 883 was filed by Rep. Beth Low on February 15, 2007. It was not assigned to a committee until the last day of the session, May 18. The House Speaker used this means to prevent this bill from having a hearing and any consideration.
