Memberhip in Missourians for Tax Justice is open to grassroots groups, agencies, organizations, and individuals who accept MTJ's purpose, goals, and principles.
The structure policy states that MTJ shall be 1) statewide; 2) grassroots and inclusive of people of color and low income; 3) flexible; 4) minimum budget; 5) have a quick response mechanism for decisions; 6) a collaboration among independent/autonomous organizations and individuals; 7) nonpartisan.
MTJ has no membership dues, but financial or in-kind contributions based on ability to contribute are expected.
