These pictures span a couple of months, since I don't take too many each day, just when the mood strikes me. But I hope to show you all some funny pics, pleasing ones, as well as family. Oh yeah, I threw in a couple with me in them too *snickers* Hope you all enjoy them as I did.
Here you will see the nice cake that Elise had made for the special occasion of Christmas. [ pic ]
When you see Josiah, you'll probably laugh as much as I did. He's a regular "ham" for the camera. [ pic ]
Although this picture is a bit dark (no flash), you can see Elyse as she is ... happy. [ pic ]
You know how children can be when they know a camera is aimed at them, right? Well, it appears that Elyse is posing for Cosmopolitan magazine, Josiah is showing his adorably humerous side, and Breahana is seemingly caught in the beginning of an eye blink. But they are all together, and it's a good pic. [ pic ]
Here, we can see the many wrapped gifts for everyone. [ pic ]
I'm in the front, and in the back is Elyse, Mom, Josiah, Breahana, and Dad. [ pic ]
Same setting, but Elise is here, instead of me. I really like this one. [ pic ]
This is my cousin Cindy. She's such an energetic lady, never hesitating to do adventures. (and she's gorgeous too) This is a rare chance to catch her at rest for a mere moment. Thanks Cindy! [ pic ]
Now we will be following my journeys along the road I walk on for exercise. There's 3 3/4 miles, with some steep hills along the first mile and a half. But the rewards for the effort, is some spectacular views, as you'll see. This is the small dam that is behind a cutlery (knife) factory we have in town. There's a lot of branches at the edge, because they had to lower the stream to repair the dam, and when the water rose again, all the branches came downstream. [ pic ]
Further up the hill, was another chance to see a nice view of the setting sun. It's a bit dark, but colorful too. [ pic ]
If you don't use glasses like I do, you might be able to see the steeple of the Notre Dame church just to the right of the thick tree trunk. Unfortunately, you can't see as much details of the town as I did with my eyes, but this isn't too bad a pic. [ pic ]
It seems that I like to see the New England woods, and the trees are a big part of this, so I have this view of them. The sun was in a good position to set them glowing. [ pic ]
Going again further up another hill, I tried to capture the valley with part of the town in it, as well as the area my place of work is. If I had another, and better camera, this shot might have been better, but we'll have to settle for this one.Actually, the branch in the left side of the pic is pointing right at the place I work at, which is a white roof area just a little bit away from the tip of the branch. [ pic ]
This one is again, dark, and kind of murky, but it was an attempt to see the town in the valley. There's a nice view to be seen in daytime .... maybe I'll get a brighter one someday :) [ pic ]
By now, you can guess that it was getting steadily darker outside. This is at the top of the hill, looking out across the open field, catching the beautiful sun setting to the west. [ pic ]
I never tire of beautiful colors of sunsets *s* [ pic ]
Well, I had good hopes this would have turned out better than it did *giggle* [ pic ]
One last try to capture the fast sinking sun, which silhouettes the trees magnificently. [ pic ]
Here, it's another day, and a different path walked upon, but still, very calming and pleasant. [ pic ]
The first snows of this years wintertime have arrived, and cling to some of the rocks in the stream. All too soon, I know it will be covering the ground everywhere. [ pic ]
Same stream, wide view. [ pic ]
Home again, jiggity jig. This is the apartment house I live in. My place is the bottom, from the street to the window that has a light on in it.(it's my kitchen light shining through my storage room) [ pic ]
On another walk, after the snows had fallen again, covering everything a bit deeper than before, I have again found the setting sun casting a warm glow over the Earth. [ pic ]
At the top of the hill again, with the snow much more visible. It was cold, but pleasant. [ pic ]
And finally, I found a platform to support my camera so I could show you how bundled I have to be to bring all these pictures to you, in the comfort of your home. Don't get me wrong, it's a labor of love *s*
