Come along and see through my eyes!!

Southbridge, Massachusetts
September 1999

In the early mornings, on my way to work, I am often treated to really nice sunrises as I top the hill off of Cliff St, and turn onto Paige Hill Rd.Here are two examples of what I see:

When I'm not working at the Schott Fiber Optics plant, I am relaxing at home, or doing any of a thousand chores. My apartment isn't too fancy or anything, but it's small, cozy, and growing on me more each day. There's a good neighborhood here, with great neighbors, on a picturesque hillside street, away from the busy downtown. I think I'll start with the most logical place, the kitchen, which is where you would first walk in through the front door.
the kitchen
Just off behind the stove, which was in the left side of the picture of the kitchen,(out of view) is the room I call the "storage" room. This picture will show you why it is an appropriate name :-o)
Storage room
This next shot shows you the artwork done by my Brasilian friend, who remains dear to my heart, Rosy. It is exquisite crossstitching of various themes of my favorite beverage, coffee. This is presented on my kitchen wall, which lets me see them every day *s*

This next scene, may not look too organized, but my computer room is just that..... MY computer room! LMAO Anyway, it's not the neatest, but I know where things are kept (most of the time, anyway) and there's also the overflow of storage "stuff" from the other room.On the wall, is the map I use to get a good idea where the many different people I get to know on the internet live.
The computer room
Here's my computer, complete with two spiderman figurines sitting on top of it, the answering phone machine, and various other office type stuff.
The comp
To the left side, is the IBM scanner (flat black thingy just up from the keyboard), and to the left of them, is the HP printer, Zipdrive, and in the front, is my stereo cassette deck, which I have hooked up to the headphone jack of my sound board, to record the MP3 music to tapes. (wicked cool!)
more comp
Looking down the hallway from the kitchen, is the living room.

Here in the living room, is the TV with America's favorite game show on-screen, Wheel-Of-Fortune. (I just hadn't time to switch to MY favorite... Star Trek) Do you like that picture on the wall? It came from that overpriced, but trendy catalog company, Popular Club Plan. All that clutter on top the TV is my way to hear the TV like a movie theater, but mostly, it annoys the neighbors. (I'm still a big kid hehehe) Do you like the flower basket behind that framed picture? You can have one like that too, and easily. (bought mine at Basketville :)
Living Room
This scene shows the bright windows I have. (courtesy of south facing side of the house). As you can see, it makes my apartment bright and cheerful, unless I really want to watch TV, which gets the full glare of light :- ( Thank goodness my couch is dark, so you don't see the things left there *s* You can see that box of kleenex that I sometimes use when watching those tear jerker movies *snif* Oh yeah, each end of the couch reclines ........ I do enjoy some of the perks of yuppie days.
Sun side
This is as close to seeing the mess in my bedroom as I'll let you see. Not to imply that I am a messy individual, but I am, after all, a bachelor. (I know, a weak excuse, but it's mine) On the far wall is my dad's fine artwork, a beautiful pen & ink drawing of a bear rearing up as wolves approach. (dad's work is wonderful) Did you happen to notice my nuclear enhanced sneakers by the bed? That's why they glow so good, and I was told they are powered by the same method as the spacecraft Cassini.

This next picture, is what I look on a Friday afternoon, right out of work. It's known as the happy factor, and I enjoy this time immensely. Since each Friday I stay at mom & dad's, you can understand the smile, knowing that I will give dad another run for his money playing the Sony Playstation game Tekken3. We're both good at it, and mom would attest to the fact we turn into little kids while playing that. You know, screams and hollers of joy of winning, or protestations of defeat. MOM!!!!!!!!!! Dad's beating me up again!........ Terri, your son's out of control mopping the floor with me! Of course, there's also sounds of laughter with the antics of some of the characters moves, which delights the children all the time.
Mozzie on Friday's
See this place? That's where I went back in November of 1998, to São Paulo, Brasil. Stayed there for the entire month, enjoying the hospitality of Rosy, and her mom (now adopted by me), and her family. It is such a wonderful country, that has captured my heart. I will visit there again, and hopefully more than once.
The map
Have you seen kid's eat sandwiches of peanut butter and marshmallow fluff?
"Fluff" smeared Josiah, my nephew
My neice Elyse has a certain way that she wants her pictures taken.
That certain look
A child is so innocent, and sometimes, very caring, and sympathetic. Breahnna is just so full of love :)
She's so cute!
Breahnna isn't the only one to share love, as evidenced by this picture of Gadget, with her newborn kittens They didn't have their eyes open at the time I took this.
Kitty litter of a different kind
Here we see the work of busy little kids, who have delighted my parents, and sister, with their creative skills with Gallery Glass, a craft thing I see often. You'll see why I see when you see this picture too.
Window dressing
And to complete this page, a pic of my dad & I Us, and my mom Mom
I hope you have enjoyed this page. It was thrown together while I still had these witty thoughts in mind *s*
