While honoring the past and eagerly awaiting the future, we the church family of Trinity United Church of  Christ, commit ourselves to the service of the Lord today.  We adopt the following tenets as the foundation of our Church's purpose:

1.  To proclaim the gospel in preaching and administering the sacraments

2.  To minister to individuals and families in times of crisis, sorrow and joy by being a sustaining and supportive community for our members and friends

3.  To provide opportunities for the personal and spiritual growth and religious education of our friends and members

4.  To help the poor and oppressed in our community and in the world by personally offering comfort and through support of our church-sponsored charities, missions and organizations

5.  To be concerned about and seek solutions to the moral, political and ecological problems facing our community, our nation and our world

6.  To maintain a place and the organization for all these things to happen.

Recognizing that strength of purpose comes from our faith in God as set forth in the Holy Bible, we embrace Isaiah 61:1-4 as our Mission Statement's creed.
