Welcome to fifth grade! My name is Mrs. Judy Sutherland, and I have the pleasure of being your teacher for the upcoming school year. We have many exciting learning experiences ahead of us. In order to fascilitate our academic studies, the rules and procedures of our classroom and school will be addressed below. Detentions are issued at teachers' discretions
One detention equals 3 checks
Playing with items in class will result in a check, and the items played with will be taken away unitl
the end of the school year or a parent retrieves it.
Note writing/passing is prohibited. This is considered disruptive behavior.

Assignment Notebook & Friday Folder
In order to help sutdents with organizational skills, she/he will be given an assignment notebook to keep track of his/her daily assignments.
