This Web Page has keys to being a successful student.

1) When you read a text book like our Physical Science book, read the objectives. They tell you what you’ll be learning in that section.

2) Study the key vocabulary terms

3) Take notes- from the text book and in class from Mrs. Calhoun

4) Keep a notebook! Make sure to keep all returned assignments and notes in the notebook. Keep them organized by chapter.

5) Look at the illustrations and photographs to help you understand the material in the text.

6) Answer the section reviews. Even if they are not assigned, it is a good idea to look at these questions. If you can answer them without looking up the answer, you are ready!

7) DO YOUR CLASS WORK AND HOMEWORK !!!!

8) SHOW UP ON TIME AND BE PREPARED!!!

9) DON’T DISRUPT THE LEARNING OF OTHERS!

10) ASK QUESTIONS!! If you are uncertain on something, PLEASE ask for help. It is my job to help you understand the material.
