Calling all Volunteers to work the MS150

So, maybe 150 miles on a bicycle isn’t your cup of tea. But you’d like to help out? Maybe you have nothing going that weekend? Or is a friend of family member riding and you’d like to support them and the team? Or maybe you cannot ride but would still like to help?

There are plenty of volunteer opportunities for you!

On the day of the ride we need people at the start to be sure the riders have all of their information and materials and that they are set to go. You would hand out jerseys, t-shirts, and help riders to find their way around as they prepare to launch on their journey.

Also on the day of the ride we need someone to host the hospitality tent. If you can open a can of pop and say “Would you like a cookie” you’re qualified for this important job. When the riders arrive at their overnight destination, we set up a hospitality tent with refreshments to be a gathering point for the team. It’s a great opportunity to visit with the riders and get to know them. This is an ideal job for a spouse or friend of a rider.

Prior to the day of the ride, we need volunteers to help with preparations such as meetings, team spirit and fund raising.

Of course, all volunteers are welcome to join the riders at the team spirit events.

No matter what you volunteer for it is a fun and fulfilling event!
