Meet Entry Procedure

The Michigan High School Athletic Association requires electronic entries for the 2008 U.P. Swim and Dive Championship. There are two ways to submit an electronic entry.

·  OPTION 1(Easy) = Download this Excel Spreadsheet for electronic meet entries

Coaches: Save the above spreadsheet to your computer, but before opening, please open your Excel program and click on TOOLS, MACROS, SECURITY, MEDIUM, then, when you open the downloaded file, click on ENABLE macros)

·  OPTION 2 = Use Meet Manager software that saves entries in SDIF format. Use the standard 24 event girls/boys high school event order.

Electronic entries are due from each team by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 and must be emailed to the Meet Manager Matthew Williams at: tottales@charter.net. The MHSAA enforces a $50 late fee on all teams who submit entries after the deadline. Late entries may be denied by the meet host if the meet is already seeded.

Please also fax the following items to the MSHS Athletic Department at (906) 225-5371 by the same deadline:

1) Master eligibility list,

NOTE: A copy of the Marquette Senior High School entry will be on file at the MSHS Athletic Department by 3 p.m. Feb. 12 for viewing by any team that has submitted its entry. If all teams submit electronic entries on time, heat sheets will be available by email Wednesday, Feb. 13.

FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

You may enter three athletes per individual event and one relay team per relay event.

Athlete seed times must be a time performed by the athlete in a high school meet during the 2007-08 high school season.

Relay seed times must be an actual time performed by a relay in a high school meet during the 2007-08 high school season (you may not use a combination of athlete's splits for your relay seed times.)

Enter at least 4 and up to 8 athletes in your relays using the entry software. On Feb. 16 you will find relay sheets or cards with the athlete names in your coach's packets. You will be asked to return these to the scorekeeper with your final relay names at the coaches' meeting Saturday.

For diving, use the MHSAA diving sheets available on this website (additional copies will be available at the pool Feb. 15).
