Nov. 5, Mon, 2:30-5:00 p.m. -- First regular practice **

** Athletes must have a current physical exam, emergency medical form and signed athletic code to participate in practice.
MSHS pay-to-participate fee of $113 is due by Nov. 15 and is required for continued practice after that date.

Daily practice times

Monday-Friday

Group 1 @ 2:45-4:45 p.m.

Group 2 @ Upper Deck stretching 4:15-4:30; in pool 4:30-5:45 p.m. (some lanes may not start until 4:45)

Divers: Warm-up 3:45-4:15, on the board 4:15-5:40

NOTE: All athletes should be on deck, prepared to swim with cap, goggles and water bottle before the assigned start time

Holiday practices

Holiday practices are any in-service day and days TBA during the December holiday

Group 1 @ 9-11 a.m.

Group 2 @ 10:30-noon.

Divers @ TBD by the diving coach.

NOTE: On ½ school days, practice begins 15 minutes after school dismissal and follows normal blocks of time.

Practice assignments and make-up practice opportunities

Athletes are assigned to a practice group by the coach. Knowledge and ability to execute drills properly is a strong consideration. Practice assignments are not made based on an athlete's work or social schedule.

Athletes may attend a different practice only when they are unable to make their assigned time due to school function.

Athletes should propose a solution when asking about make-up practices.

NOTE: Athletes may no longer attend Open Swim sessions for FREE to make up practice, they must pay the Community Education swim fee of $3

Any athlete unable to attend 50% of the practices is ineligible to compete or travel with the team.
