As is the case for many moms, the recent highlights of my life are reflected on the kids' pages. However, during the sporadic moments when I'm not attending dramatic, musical, or athletic events (or driving the children to the practices for such events), I still teach at Appalachian State University. In the past couple years, I have begun to teach web-based and other "distance education" courses in addition to on-campus courses related to adult neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. For fun, I like to run, hike, and play pick-up volleyball. Before you begin to suspect I've lost my propensity for sloth, let me say I still laze about on the deck reading and crocheting/knitting whenever I get the chance.
The pictures below probably aren't new, they're just my favorites.
