For Sale:
At this time we have only a couple percentage and Fullbloods left forsale!!
We currently have about 30 breeding does, a few breeding bucks, and of course kids.  We also raise some ducks, rabbits a couple beef cows and chickens. Cory builds fences, and Alana works in a nursing facility, so we really don't have much spare time. We don't raise goats for a living, more as a hobby.  Crossing two goats, and having a kid come out 5 months later that is better then either parent is our reward. We hope you enjoy our site, and thanks for stopping by.

We are proud members of the SNEBGA, an organization that strives to promote and improve the boer goat in New England....  Any question you may contact Cory..

Mumford Meadows began in 1992 with a handful of Pygmy goats. In 98' the Pygmy's were sold and in 99' Cory joined the UMass student run boer goat herd. Then in 01' we began our own herd of percentage and fullblooded boer goats. We are developing a cross using some great genetics out of animals going back to Mojo Magic, Sasquatch, Vlek, and Tarzan T66, and a little of P/H top lines thrown in there as well.  We try to outcross our animals in these parameters to increase the vigor of that animal, while maintaining certain characteristics.  We strive to produce an animal with a phenotype that expresses the genetic makeup of what that animal can be. Taking into consideration the feet and legs, depth of body, length, and muscle of the animals we breed. We also look to keep only the hardiest animals, and those that do best under pasture conditions.
A huge Thank you to the farms that have showed interest in our stock while we have had to sell so many of our best does.
