It's time for Sci-Fi Friday again! Sci-Fi has recently added to the mix by airing Dead Zone before Stargate SG1 and Farscape. It's a nice bundle and I catch myself rushing out of work so I can come home, relax, spend time with my animals, have dinner, and kick back on the couch before the shows start.

Special teaser commercials always air during Dead Zone and Stargate SG1, this one went something like this:
Something old: shot of Noranti.
Something new: shot of Aeryn blonde.
Something borrowed: shot of Crichton as Max Headroom.
Someone blue: shot of someone blue, shot of Crichton with a Zhaan voice over.

If you don't want me ruining tonight's episode of Farscape then stop reading now! Ok good, you're still reading. *wink* John Quixote - A black-market, virtual-reality game traps Crichton and Chiana. Crichton is Quixote and Chiana is Pancho . Their quest is to kiss the princess or find a green door. The "path", chocolate coins, leads them through fairy town. The thing to remember is up is down. Ben Browder wrote this episode and I had no idea he had such a twisted mind! At every turn there is a great pop culture reference, from Mission Impossible to the obvious Max Headroom. What gave me the biggest laugh was Aeryn as a southern princess. Southern as in, "the south shall rise again." What warmed my heart though was seeing a wonderful character back for a cameo. Actually there are several guest cameos in this episode. I don't won't to spoil it though so we'll just move on. Zhaan! Ok so I let that one slip. *smiles* Zhaan is back, well for a small time anyway. Zhaan is played by the beautiful Virginia Hey.

I miss the spirituality and the energy that Zhaan/Virginia brought to the show. I've even addicted my husband to the craziness that is Farscape.

And on a completely random note our cats are deeply disturbed by Rockapella. Jadzia ran away, Kam thumbed his tail until the music stopped, Ezri sat on the bed and twitched her skin, and best of all Dax sat by the computer with his ears back meowing whenever the singing stopped and backups began. It was very funny.....or mom and I thought so anyway.

Night all. Sleep well.
